Best Thing Ever

Prior to this month I’d been to Red Rocks Amphitheatre to see a concert only once. This month alone we saw 4 shows there. At the beginning of August I trucked up there with Loni to see Toby Keith on his Big Dog Daddy Tour accompanied by Miranda Lambert. Less than a week later we hit up the Paid Dues Festival featuring underground hip hop acts such as Felt, Living Legends, Sage Francis, Brother Ali, Blueprint, The Perceptionists, and several others. Had some friends come down from SD for this one as well as a good crowd from Denver. It was probably a little too much hip hop though considering we got there around 1PM, the show started at 3PM and ended at 11PM. Good times, but we were all pretty beat. Then about 10 days later we caught the Beastie Boys in an epic performance and the day following we saw the Summer Haze tour with Slightly Stoopid, G. Love, and Ozomatli. Stoopid stole the show and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
