Tony…

I wanted to wait a while to post this in case there were those out there who hadn’t seen the Sopranos finale and were waiting to watch it. Enough time has past though and if you haven’t seen it yet then you probably don’t care too much… either way I suppose a SPOILER ALERT is in order.

So I’m a pretty big Sopranos fan and like a lot of other viewers I was more than a bit frustrated with the final episode. It was like it ended on one big cliffhanger that would never be answered, because well, it’s the final episode ever and all. Rumors abounded that there was going to be a follow-up movie or that the creators wanted to do 10 seasons and so this was a big “screw you” to HBO, but ultimately all the fans want is some damn closure to which many felt they hadn’t received. Sopranos creator David Chase was quoted as saying, “it’s all there” and after a second look well yes, I suppose it is.

Tony got shot.

I’d go into it, but the following website does a much better and more thorough job than I ever could. Check it out.

People from the Future

I was driving home today and the back of this work truck had the motto

“100 Years of Excellence… Since 1966″

I slowed down just to be sure of what I was reading. The dot dot dot part was even there, like maybe there’s something we don’t know that would make this possible and they didn’t put their entire motto on the tailgate of the truck. Perhaps it was too long and they got a deal on keeping it under 35 characters. Either way…

What the hell.

Recent Grad

As of approximately 4:45 PM MDT on 6/11/07 Loni is a graduate of Bel-Rae Institute of Veterinary Technology. She’s got board exams at the end of this week at which point she’ll be a Certified Veterinary Technician. We hosted alot of family this weekend in celebration of this and I’m still a little hungover from the keg of beer and other festivities that followed. We’re all quite proud of her (the ones who didn’t loose bets that she’d never make it this far) for making it to graduation and for all the hard work she put in to get there.

Congrats baby.

No humor, just suspense. Great short film by an amateur crew.

?

Why are we here, what’s it all for, why’s Marky Mark’s bunch so damn funky?

Does your mind ever race? Ever wonder about everything and nothing all at once? Ponder thoughts from the philosophical to the mundane or just spin the wheels only to go nowhere?

If nothing sticks to teflon then how’s the teflon stuck to my frying pan? Why’s there so much good music out there and they only play a fraction of a percent of it on the radio? Does the need to be entertained validate the money that entertainers earn? Ever wonder why they shot Lennon, Kennedy, and Tupac but not Fergie, Bush, or Chingy? Do ya ever just wanna break out, tear it all down, or start from scratch? What happens when you die and did all your tirals and tribulations matter previously?—I mean, we’re all just space dust, right?  Is there a God, and if so does he care, or are we just a giant ant farm? Who put the ram in the rama lama ding dong? What’s the point of this post?

Do you ever wonder?

Yeah… me neither
